Find Out More About Drivers Education For Adults

It is fairly common for people who are now adults to have never attended drivers education classes. Sometimes it is because their parents would not allow them to drive a vehicle when they were under the age of 18. Other times, it is because they were in some sort of trouble with the law and they were not allowed to drive a motor vehicle.

There are numerous reasons why adults are going back to school to learn the laws of the road. This is always a good refresher course for anyone involved. Most people are more responsible drivers if they take one of these courses as an adult. Young people are sometimes not really mature enough to get behind the wheel of a vehicle. Sometimes people have grown up in the city and they have never had any reason to get a drivers license. People who live in the big city often take public transportation everywhere they go.

If you are a new driver, it is critically important that you learn the rules of the road and defensive driving techniques. Drivers instruction courses will also give you practical driving experience with a qualified instructor at your side to guide you. One big benefit of this type of training is that many insurance companies will give you a discount on your policy when you have taken one of these courses.

If you are not quite sure how to go about getting yourself signed up for a drivers education course, you can find a lot of information on the Internet. This is going to be the most convenient way to find a local source. Many people prefer to shop around for a driving school before they decide which one to go with. After all, there are affordable prices if we are willing to look around.

You will normally be required to take a class inside a classroom. After this, you will be required to do road training and then do a written and road test. If you can pass each of these tests, you will be in good shape. In some cases, you can take the classroom portion of the course on the Internet. However, it is usually better to do local classroom study because you can get the input of others in your same situation.

Drivers education is something that should always be taken seriously. We need to be responsible with our driving privileges so that they are not revoked. Some people think that because they are of a certain age, they qualify to drive a motor vehicle. However, if you are not legal, you need to take a drivers education course.

The good thing about taking an online education course is the fact that it is available 24 hours a day seven days a week. This is perfect for anyone who has a busy schedule. Of course, you will still need to take actual drivers training on the road. If you need training to get your drivers license, be sure to check out a drivers education course in your area.

Gnathos Presents Online Orthodontic Training For Health Professionals

Dentistry is a unique area of health care. Delivering dental treatment typically includes very close “in your face” contact with a patient while invading their body cavity (inside their mouth). In addition to that the patient is typically awake, gazing into the dentist’s eyes and face – very close contact. And, many people are apprehensive and nervous making the entire process daunting for both patient and dentist.

Dentistry is a type of “microsurgery” and by necessity dentists must be skilled with their hands. This includes the ability to transfer what they see needs to be done into actual manual dexterity. In order to apply to an American Dental Association (ADA) accredited school or college, students must first complete a four-year undergraduate college degree, which satisfies admission requirements to dental school. As well, it’s necessary to have better than average scores on the Dental Aptitude Test (DAT). These days competition for admission to dental school is fierce, requiring very good grades. Most, but not all dental schools require four-year curricula. Next, dental students may apply for additional training in general dental practice residencies (GPR). These programs offer various training time frames, may be hospital based and typically involve rotating through the various dental specialties.

Orthodontics is one of those specialty dental areas. Defined, “Ortho” means “straight” and “dontics” refers to teeth. After completing dental school an additional 3 years of specialty education is required. Orthodontic residency class sizes are small and exclusive with only 4 – 6 students admitted each year. In addition to treating patients, orthodontic residents study human facial growth, facial type analysis, orthodontic history, craniofacial anatomy, jaw function and dysfunction (TMJ/TMD), management of complex dental and surgical cases, craniofacial anomalies, dentofacial aging, as well as the complex area of orthodontic mechanics.

After graduating it’s essential that orthodontists keep current with the latest advances in the specialty. As well, each State has specific and mandatory continuing educationrequirements. In that regard, the individual person knows their best learning environment. Some prefer the classroom or study group with live feedback and camaraderie. Others are more solitary preferring journals and textbooks. Now, we have the option for “24/7” orthodontic education on the Internet. Here, I’ve discovered that the on-line consumer of education prefers face-to-face contact with the presenter. Of less appeal is the “fly on the wall” internet experience where the person logging in feels more like just another face amidst the great unwashed. With that in mind I developed gnathosCE.com, a format that offers a more engaging, personalized experience where I’m speaking one-on-one to the viewer. The site is available to all interested health care providers including the “exceptional employee”.

HABIA
In 1986, the Hairdressing Training Board (HTB) was formed with the objective of working with employers, educators and government to design and implement training and education programmes for the hairdressing industry.

Habia is the government appointed standards setting body for hair, beauty, nails, spa therapy, barbering and African type hair, and creates the standards that form the basis of all qualifications including NVQs, SVQs, Apprenticeships, Diplomas and Foundation degrees, as well as industry codes of practice.

In 1997, HTB, HTB Scotland, and the Beauty Industry Authority (BIA) formed the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA) to include the beauty therapy industry within its remit. Habia was formally launched by Dr Kim Howells, then Minister for Lifelong Learning, at that year’s Salon International exhibition.

By 2001, the organisation was being referred to by its initials, HABIA, and by the end of 2004 the decision was made to officially make the company name Habia. By this time, nail services and spa therapy had been added to Habia’s remit.

Habia was officially recognised by the government as a National Training Organisation (NTO) until these were abolished in 2001. Currently, Habia is recognised by the government as the Standards Setting Body for the hair, beauty, nails and spa sectors (including barbering and African Caribbean hair). The core responsibilities for Standards Setting Bodies include sector research and information, national occupational standards, qualifications strategy and learning frameworks. A central point of contact for information, Habia provides guidance on careers, business development, legislation, salon safety and equal opportunities, and is responsible to government on industry issues such as education and skills.

Habia raises the profile of its industries through the press and media, and is the first port of call for news organisations and broadcasters on news items and background information.

Habia also delivers solutions direct to:
salons – to help them understand complex legislation such as health & safety and employment law, improve client retention and raise business performance;
employees – to gain the skills that employers need to stay up to date with client demand and the latest techniques, equipment and products, as well as where to go to access learning and suitable qualifications;
trainers – to deliver qualifications with training support manuals, and to create successful teaching programmes including induction and initial assessment;
learners – by offering books and teaching guides directly related to their studies, and by providing advice on career paths and qualifications.

HABIA is very similar to the NHF in its support for salons and individuals.

The Future For Hair Associations
State registration is looking like a possible requirement for hair salons moving forward to promote best practice and tidy up the industry

Internet And Network Marketing Education – Max Steingart Vs. Tim Sales – Review

We were recently introduced to Max Steingart’s Endless Leads 4.0 Training Course by a leading internet and network marketing expert. While many are buying mlm leads or using expensive paid ads campaigns, Facebook and other social media make it easy to generate cheap mlm leads. Max’s method is refreshing, in that many online marketers and network marketers show few online “manners” and seem to have no clue about “relationship” selling. This article provides a review of what Max has to offer and its effectiveness vs. Tim Sales’ popular “Professional Inviter” training.

Max, as many know, bills himself as the “Father of Social Media,” due to the fact that he began using his current technique in the days of America Online. Max teaches basic skills he learned and perfected from such timeless classics as “How to Make Friends and Influence People,” first in the AOL environment and recently in social media such as Facebook and MySpace. Simply put, Max’s advice is to never expose or offer your network marketing business before a relationship exists. The focus is not on making a sale; rather if there is a sale that could be made. This is exactly parallel to what is taught in Tim Sales’ Professional Inviter to first find a prospect’s “need, want or desire” before making a “sales approach.”

So what about Max’s content? An understandable contrast is to primary mlm sales trainer Tim Sales, which makes the assessment fascinating. Though both are in network marketing, Tim has a much larger following and name recognition. After all, he’s the creator of the very popular “Brilliant Compensation” video which makes the case for the viability of the network marketing industry. Robert Kiyosaki’s recent endorsement of the network marketing model is one of the only comparable works.

What is special about Max? On the surface, his training seems much more simplistic than the more “academic” approach used by Tim Sales. Perhaps this is more what is needed for true duplication of effort. In either case, specific methods, scripts, and approaches must be tailored on a case by case basis. We do think that the Max Method does truly reduce the amount of rejection encountered in the process. In Tim’s approach, the network marketing, or pyramid “objection” is addressed up front, which may actually raise it in cases where in may not have been present.

Another difference is that Max’s course is online vs. a CD set and has more extensive videos, which seem almost to be limitless. The sheer quantity of material has its advantages, although it’s easy to get bogged down, too!

Our favorite feature is the daily “Ask Max” sessions, which provide both a high repetition factor and an affordable “group” mentoring in real time. We don’t know how long Max will be able to keep up this incredible pace, but we highly endorse his training for anyone that wants to learn from the innovative “Father of Social Media,” today’s best strategies for generating cheap mlm leads. We also recommend Tim Sales’ training, but short of moving to Tampa and joining his team, he is much less accessible as a mentor.
